We founded our consulting arm, The Gaffin Group, in 2013 to bring strategy development and execution to a broad set of Middle Market companies. As we worked with a number of clients on paths for growth, and often to prepare for a future exit or sale of the company, often this work would culminate in a sell side process. Particularly for companies in the lower end of the middle market, we often heard that their options were limited – trying to garner the attention from a larger investment banking firm, or working with a business broker with more limited investment and strategic experience. SLS Capital Advisors was created in 2018 to bridge that gap, bringing outstanding service and expertise, and a personal passion for seeing our clients succeed, to this specific sector of the market.

SLS Capital Advisors is a boutique financial advisory firm providing sell-side services to companies at the lower end of the middle market. We seek to bring outstanding service and expertise, and a personal passion for seeing our clients succeed, to this sector of the market.
Today, the combination of the two companies allows us to provide a seamless set of consulting and investment banking services to middle market companies, blending a strategic and pragmatic perspective to support firms across the growth spectrum.
